DT800 - How to resolve the E30 IR Error

The E30 IR error is mainly caused by the detection of a suspicious bill.

Step 1: Please remove the bill and resume the count (please note the image or integrated IR feature of notes may become weaker when a note is old, heavily used or accidentally washed)

Step 2: The E30 error is also related to dust accumulated on the CIS sensors; we advise properly maintaining the machine by performing weekly and monthly clean up.

Step 3: Please ensure the Feeding Gap is properly adjusted and the stack of notes is placed properly on the hopper stage. Please check the following article on:

Step 4: If the error persists, please proceed with the CIS calibration.

4.1. If the CIS calibration was successful and you are still experiencing E30 IR Error:

4.1.1. Please lower the IR sensitivity to 0.
> Access the Menu by pressing the OK button for 5 seconds and entering the password ↓↓↓↓
> Select Settings
> Scroll down to IR and press ok
> Reduce the sensitivity from 1 to 0, Press Start to save your selection

4.1.2. We might need your help extracting the data to analyze the suspicious bills.

Important Note: if the IR error is related to 50 or 100$ bills, please check the software version by accessing the Menu and selecting Version.
