DT800 - How to resolve bills going to the reject pocket

If you encounter issues during the count i.e. most of the bills go to the reject pocket, we recommend the following steps:

Step 1: Please ensure the feeding gap is adjusted properly.

Step 2: Clean the machine to make sure the sensors are clear of dust. We advise properly maintaining the machine by performing weekly and monthly clean up.

Step 3: Perform the CIS calibration

Step 4: Access the Voltage Dashboard and check the “switch” voltage

  • Press OK+MODE (or ADD+MODE) at the same time to access the voltage dashboard.
  • Cover the start sensor with your hand
  • Check if the "Switch" voltage is around 3.27v

Abnormal Voltage

Step 5: Please ensure the solenoid valve is in the correct position (most common error codes are E2 and E3)

Step 6: Please ensure the back cover is closed properly

If the back cover is not closed properly you can experience the following issues:

  • E11 and E30 error codes.
  • Ripped bills go into the reject pocket.
  • Unusual sound when counting bills
