If you encounter an EF03 Error during the count, please try and remove the suspicious bill.
1. Ensure the machine is turned off
2. Open the Upper and Lower Back Compartments, check if there is a bill stuck
3. Gently remove the bill with your fingers
If you encounter repetitive EF03 Errors when placing a stack of bills on the hopper stage, please follow below instructions:
Step 1: Check out the IR_OUT Voltage
Step-by-Step instructions:
1. Press the CUR + MODE button at the same time
2. Press Down Arrow
3. Check IR_OUT voltage, the correct value should read 3.20
If the value is less than 3.20V, please ensure the lower and upper back compartments are properly closed. If the Error persists and the voltage is not stable, please proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Please ensure the sensors are properly cleaned with a brush or a dry cloth.
We’ve uploaded a video demonstrating how to perform the cleaning process - https://youtu.be/1Lw6Qk1oeBI
Step 3: Please ensure the light guide located on the back of the drawer is not broken
Step 4: Please check if the IR counting sensor cables are plugged properly
