DT600C - CIS Calibration Failed

There are 4 types of CIS adjust notifications in case the calibration fails.

1. CIS Adjust Exposure Failed: we advise cleaning the CIS tubes and White Calibration Strip. If the error persists, please check Step 1 of the troubleshooting section

2. CIS Adjust Contrast Failed: we advise cleaning the CIS tubes and White Calibration Strip for obvious stains. Run another calibration; if the same error persists, please contact support.

3. CIS Adjust Offset Failed: Please reach out to our support team for advice on the next steps.

4. CIS Adjust Uniformity Failed: Please proceed to step 3 of the troubleshooting section.

  • Type of Error? (Exposure, Contrast, Offset, or Uniformity)
  • Cleaned the CIS sensors: Yes/No
  • Checked Cables Connection: Yes/ No
  • If the type of error is Uniformity, please report the Self Detection Error Message (step 3)
Troubleshoot Section

Step 1: Power on the machine and check if the CIS light turns blue, red, and/or green.

Step 2: If the lights are flashing at the start, check if the CIS cables are properly connected to the MainBoard and Image Support Board.
If there are no lights at the start, check if the CIS cable is properly connected to the image support board

Step 3: Self-detection Error Process

If you get the following notification “CIS adjust uniformity failed!”, this represents a self-detection error. In order to identify the root cause, please access the sensor static data interface through the following steps and pull out the CIS self-check abnormal error content:

Step 1: Long Press the ADD button for quick access. If this doesn’t work, access the SET MENU by pressing the OK button until you are prompted to input a password “↓↓↓↓”
Step 2: Select User Menu to access the settings and scroll down using the down arrow, select Sensor Static Data, then press OK
Step 3: Press the report key and wait until the machine completes the self-test checks
Step 4: Once the motor stops turning, the CIS self-test abnormality will prompt the corresponding error report content, please report the findings so we can advise on the troubleshooting steps

When the CIS self-check is abnormal,it will show an error message on the screen. For example, cis self-test sensor abnormal or TIR light abnormal

Step 5: Press Report again to unlock the Self-Check page and Start to exit
